We are aiming to make this site a useful resource for people researching their Family History or otherwise engaged in Genealogy in Tasmania.
Our main resource is our range of Headstones of Tasmania CDs. Click Here
There can be a wealth of information for the family historian on headstones, and to date we have photographed nearly every headstone in nearly every cemetery in Southern Tasmania.
We have compiled these photographs onto CDs and at this time we have 20 "Headstones of Tasmania" CDs available for the researcher. Each CD contains photographs of graves and headstones from cemeteries in a particular area. Each grave is photographed at least twice, one photograph of the grave and one of the headstone. Old, weathered and hard to read headstones are photographed multiple times in sections.
Because headstones are an important part of Tasmania's heritage we have supplied our CDs to the Archives of Tasmania for reference far into the future.
Cornelian Bay Cemetery Headstones CDs 1 to 3 are available covering a number of sections of the Church of England area and are also trying other options. We now have our Headstones of Tasmania available on Data DVD with images digitally 6 times larger than those on the CDs. These are really good for those who want to zoom in on the image and to print larger better pictures.
Also available are downloadable Lite Format files of the Cornelian Bay Cemetery. These are currently at the bottom of the Cornelian Bay Page.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our site and find it at least a little useful in your researches.
